You had mentioned that you and Dr. M. were interested in Auburn and the surrounding areas. The one item that helped us the most was our Real Estate Agent. She provides a great service and is very successful at it. She interviews her clients and creates an interest profile. When listings come up and it meets your profile, she sends the listing, over the Internet, with pictures and descriptions. You can have a virtual viewing at home. If you find something interesting, she will show it on an appointment basis. This save us mountains of time (her too). Further she is very low profile. We have been getting listings over a year. She believes that when the right place and time comes along you will be there. She has had people looking over 5 years or more and then the right time and place appears; the sale is made. During the purchase of our new place she was very helpful and very flexible. She made the experience very easy for us. Anyway, her name is Cora Zevalkink and her phone # is 530/320-0427. My wife and I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the job that Cora did for us. She was professional and honest from the start of our business relationship. Our situation was not unheard of but it was somewhat out of the ordinary. We were doing a simultaneous buying and selling of a home. Cora first took us around to find a nice home that we would like considering all of the factors we had given her, including location, space, peace and quiet, etc. It only took one day to find the ideal property for us. Cora assisted us in making an offer that would be accepted and it was within 48 hours. Now the difficult task was at hand of getting our house ready to show and to sell.
